Savon. J is not a factory brand. It is a village house, led by our founder, and still made around the authentic baladi soap that changed everything.
That recipe — olive oil, time, and care — is why the atelier remains in Bsous, Mount Lebanon, and why every bar still starts the same way.
How it all started
The soap that changed everything
After we suffered from a skin problem, we tried several treatments and many medications. None of them lasted.
Then came the surprise: the authentic baladeh natural soap that Khalo Youssef has made since 1970. It was the solution — and a total game changer.
That bar is why our founder built Savon. J. We did not invent a new idea. We protected a village recipe, then learned how to carry it into a modern, clean skincare house.

From the village workshop to French standards
This is when we decided to go further. We acquired more advanced skills and completed professional training in France — so we could upgrade our organic line with cosmetic soaps produced to French standards.
With all the natural benefits of handmade soap, we raised the quality of our organic products by using no additives, no dyes, and no artificial or chemical extras of any sort.
The atelier is still in a Lebanese village called Bsous, in Mount Lebanon — close to the olive, close to the original craft.

Hot-process baladi, cold-process cosmetics, and hot-process liquids — the same olive-oil house, three crafts.
Traditional
Hot process baladi
The original village soap: olive oil, water, and caustic soda. Cut as 1 kg packs — large, medium, small, flakes, or a bar with loufa inside.
Cosmetic line
Cold process soaps
French-standard cosmetic bars — honey, laurel, shea, charcoal, lavender, and more — poured for skin, hair, and daily care.
Daily wash
Hot process liquids
Hand & body pumps in 500 ml and 1 L — olive oil, coconut oil, and essential oils. Moisturizing, antibacterial, eco-friendly, 100% natural.
